Free storage locations are displayed at the push of a button. The storage is done with the barcode-based MDE. The removal of the items at the outbound or picking is done route optimized through a light signal near the corresponding storage location. A current inventory is guaranteed by continuing inventory correction of the MDE and the feedback transferred to the ERP system.
“Scan-2-Light” is usable for an unlimited number of storage areas and warehouses, even for single-or multi-level storage. Extensions of the system are of course always realizable.
