Does myWMS LOS use ABC analysis? Administrator An administrator is the person responsible for managing a multi-user computer system, communication system, or both. The duties of an administrator include the assignment of user accounts and passwords, setting the security levels for system access, allocation of storage space and protection of your system from unauthorized access. The storage employee picks the specified articles listed in the pick list. Handling Unit The handling unit indicates the unit of measurements that belongs to each article. For instance: Pieces, kilograms, grams Inventory An inventory is the collection of all existing stocks in the warehouse at particular time. Clearing place A Clearing place is a virtual booking place in the system. Goods can be booked on this place, whose processing is unclear. Small Load Carrier (SLC) A Small load carrier is a small transport and storage tool in comparison to a pallet or a grid box. For example: transport and storage box made of plastic. Picking The picking is triggered by an order. It describes the collection of the ordered items from the inventory stored in the warehouse. Picking A picking trolley is a technical tool which is used in the picking procedure. Loading Carrier Several individual units are combined into larger units, a storage unit, on a loading carrier. They serve the transportation and storage of stock items such as pallets or small loading carriers. Storage Unit Storage units are a logical grouping of one or more amounts of material that are managed as integral unit within a warehouse. Each storage unit has a identifying number: the storage unit number. Activity type code These are characteristics that determine how an activity will be charged. An activity can be offset in the following ways: directly via predistribution of fixed costs or indirectly (value coverage) or not at all. After processing the incoming goods a pallet receipt is created by the system that is attached to the pallet during the storage. A pallet receipt indicates the amount of items that are on the loading device. Prefix A prefix is one or more signs that appear at the beginning of a document number. Return A return describes a product which derives from the warehouse and is sent back for some reason. Lock indicator A lock indicator is a flag in the master data that can create to a lock for a booking. Goods Receipt The goods receipt describes a virtual booking place in this system for incoming goods that not yet stored. Target Bin Location Determination of the Outgoing goods gate where the goods should be provided fro shipment.
